Can someone give me the EXCEL formulae for calculating the monthly interest for :-
A Mortgage Account (say at 5.95% - Re. One Account)
and
High Interest Savings Account (say at 5.35% - Re. Alliance Leicester Online Saver)
... so that the resulting %'ages can be used to calculate the monthly Interest/payment.

It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

Hi GOD,
Capital * Interest Rate / 1200 is 'sort of' what you want, although most morgages and savings accounts attract interest daily. To be really accurate, you'd also need to take into account when it was opened and (for the mortgage) when the payments were made.0 -
