We purchased two anti colic bottles but it seems impossible to keep them sterile as you have s filter with a slit in and a cap that goes on top before screwing on the teat . There does not seem any way to not be able to touch the filter and cap with your hand???. So it would not be sterile. Anyone used these type of bottles before ?

How did we survive before this urge to make everything sterile?
Soak your hands in the sterilising solution before handling it?
Or accept what billions of parents through the ages knew, that 100% sterility is not needed or achievable outside a laboratory. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
As long as you're assembling it just before you use it it's fine to touch the teat/filter/cap. What isn't ok is storing milk in a non-sterile bottle.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I'm assuming that you hold your baby without wearing gloves? So long as you have washed your hands, it should be fine. I agree with !!!!!!.0

while I agree that it is not necessary for it to be totally sterile if you are using it right away, if you are concerned, or if your child is immuno-compromised or there is another reason why you need a higher level of you could buy a pack of disposable latex or vinyl gloves and wear them, dipping your fingers into the sterilising solution before putting the bottle together. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0

As Marie Antionette nearly said 'Let them eat dirt'0

Hire a laboratory with multiple airlocks.
People have always hired sterile locations for their offspring, ever since the days of Noah and his ark. Indeed, I'm sure in the new testament it said "and lo, the child sprung forth as a product of his parents loins, and as soon as he broke the ground in front of him, it was proclaimed " let there be a sterile laboratory". And there was a laboratory. And it was good.".
