Martin was right about prompting Sky TV into giving loyal customers a discount if they think you are thinking about leaving.
It was so easy. I just rang Sky TV pressed the option for "Leaving Sky" and told the adviser that I had received a quote from Virgin which was much cheaper than my present Sky subscription and I was also miffed about Sky giving new customers a discount while they are increasing loyal customers subscription by £4.00 a month. Within a few moments the adviser said that they could drop my monthly charge by £28.00 next month and then by £15.00 for the next 9 months giving me a massive saving of over £163.00 over the next 10 months.
If you have been with Sky for some time I would urge you to have a go as it works and is so simple.
Many thanks Martin!
