Cancun - Moon Palace Vs Finest Mujeres

Help! Anyone stayed at either of these resorts or both and can help me decide what to book? We've got a deal for MP for £1299 10 nights all inclusive. Finest is a bit more PP..... Just can't decide which to go for!

We've stayed at the Beloved PM close to the finest and run by the same group. The finest looks lovely, but we prefer a more boutique feel. You're not in cancun so if it's nightlife out of the resort you're after its probably not the best, but that's the only think I think you'd find moon palace has over the finest. The finest is also brand new and has large rooms an balconies.

I'm not really too worried about being in/out of the resort.
Just want a really good holiday ...... So difficult to decide!

I'd give the finest a go then if I were you. Are you a family or a couple, as you could try the excellence next door? There's something about moon palace that doesn't really appeal to me, and you don't get any timeshare sales pitches at excellence group resorts which is a bonus.

Not sure of those two hotels but I stayed at the Riu and Riu Palace a few years ago, really nice places. The Palace is slightly more upmarket but guests can use the facilities at both if I recall. Just make sure you tip otherwise you'll look tight compared to the Americans who tip for everything even though it's all inclusive, the tips are noticed, really appreciated and service is even more top notch! Not sure if it's still the same but we were recommended to take US Dollars.
