Travelling abroad via or to an non EU country with your Motability vehicle..

If so think again.

New changes have seen motability change their stance on non EU countries under the illusion their customers wont get help, What a load of c**p

I am engaged to an Albanian lady who looks after me daily and ensures my injuries do not encroach on our lives too much. I was injured on duty and had life threatening injuries, I have the use of a motability vehicle as a result (obviously I pay via the DLA scheme etc) I am not able now to take this car to see my better halves family, yet I cant fly always and we have a wedding planned in Albania for those who can not travel to the UK due to VISA issues....I have to point out that my most amazing intended has a family that is so entrenched in Albanian life its unbelievable, family members are opposition leader and government officials and have no intention in leaving. I know that is a tenuous thread but I am trying to say that if you live your life with a Motability vehicle they will and do govern where you can go with it (fair enough but we will pay for the privilege of taking it to these countries) as we do any way with our insurance policies...Why do we need to be told where we can go under the tenuous reply that "well we cant ensure our customers are not looked after" the hell un can because we like all other people pay to ensure that happens...so why do you discriminate when your a disability charity...Don't get me wrong, I am grateful, but I am also able willing to pay for assistance to live a proper and full life, just because I was injured looking after the public why should I suffer?
I love green dots :T I hate red dots
