Best wireless laptop for play and surf? tesco £299 or dell £292?

Hi my pc is dying and I would like to replace it with a laptop wireless preferred however I dont understand the terminology and would like your opinion
I have looked at second hand ones but they start at £200 so I thought I would go the extra £100 and have a better guarentee
the tesco and dell seem to meet my budget its only me that uses it for e bay this site and general surfing
I will be going to college this september
The kids use it for their sites they are only young and also for drawing

I've found that as long as you don't wish to play major new games on it, any fairly cheap laptop will do.

My wife recently brought her "Gateway" from Tesco's which I believe was under £400. I thought she was mad buying a "Gateway" laptop, however it came with "Vista Home" and of course was wireless. When she got it home she just plugged it in and away it went. Has worked perfectly for her needs being to surf, write letters etc and she just loves it.

In fact she was so pleased with it she went and brought another for our youngest boy (12) as she was getting fed up with him wanting to borrow hers all the time .... lol
