Shower door 'adjustment size' - meaning?

Hello
I'm buying a shower door for an alcove shower and the opening is quite small so I want to get as bigger door as possible. The builder has asked me to get 700 or 730mm door. Some of the 760s I have found, say they 'adjust' to 720 - does this mean they will work with a 730mm opening for example?
Sorry if I'm being stupid!
Cheers
