No PPI but claim co said it was hidden in interest charges?

Hi all,
I'm still fielding lots of calls from claim management companies- I just tell them I never took PPI but they've caught on now - the latest said:
"did you never pay interest on a credit card? A lot of PPI was hidden in the interest charges!"
Any thoughts on whether this is true, or a tactic to handle objections and get more clients on board.
Many thanks!

It's a LIE. The cold callers are on commission for anyone they sign up. They couldn't care less whether you have any valid claims about anything. They just want the money.
Think about it, the card companies would be inundated with complaints every month from people who know what interest they should pay on the money they've borrowed on the card, if it didn't add up.
These cold callers just try and scam the gullible, don't fall for it.0 -

It cannot be hidden in the interest charge. That is not possible.
It is just your typical low knowledge/high sales pressure commission paid sales rep trying to get you to sign up with them. Ity is somewhat ironic that many use the same tactics they accuse the banks of.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
