    Pester them, at least once a day. My last mortgage also took about 3 months which was excruciating.

    Also you could use social media to get more attention to your case.

    A lender will take as long it requires to perform due diligence and process. Without substantive detail it's impossible to tell whether the lender has actually caused the delay. Or whether it's a combination of factors. Time does pass very quickly. Nor are your friends the only ones applying for a mortgage.
