I believe the only airlines that fly to Newcastle from London are BA (from Heathrow and Gatwick) and Easyjet (I think only from Stansted). Check out their websites.0

What's wrong with the train, it's quicker & generally cheaper.
BTW tip for the future - look at the websites for the airports0 -
Not neccessarily cheaper to get the train. I had to do the reverse journey - newcastle - London. On the train it was going to be £60, I flew and it only cost £28 including the taxes. I was flexible though and used teeside airport (now called Durham Tees Valley I think), this meant Icould fly with BMI baby which was the cheapest I found. Good luck, hope you find a bargain.0

Remember the locations of the airports too and factor in travel into central London.
I prefer flying to/from Heathrow as you're right on the end of the tube line, so cheaper and quicker to get to the centre.
Both Stanstead and Gatwick are quite a distance away and involve a train ride. I can't recall the fares but if you do a Google on Stanstead Express and Gatwick Express you can find the prices. Here I go again on my own....0 -
BA from Heathrow and Gatwick
Easyjet from Standsted
For more information, go to the Newcastle Airport website and check the flight arrivals/departures.
That will tell you who is flying where and from. :cool:0 -
Examples of Fares - just change "York" to "Newcastle" and select the "buy in advance" tab
As you can see a RETURN ticket is as little as £200
