Yes, Xantia too, and first generation C5.
People, stay away from these fast fit chains, they are not doing you any favours, they are not reliant on their good name and reputation locally to stay in business as a family owned independent will be, they are pure money making machines with you providing the money.0 -
Think the C5 and maybe the Pug 607 have handbrake on front?
As for brakes for life - when were they last changed on your car? IF 5 years ago, ask yourself will you be keeping the car for another 5 years?0 -
You learn something new everyday. Never heard of handbrake on the front wheels before, mind you, I avoid french cars like the plague0

Do not go any where near Halfrauds or Kwikfit.
They are only there to rip you off.0 -

607 had normal rear parking brake, but first gen C5 did have front wheel parking brake, new shape C5 (08 on) is normal rear as per Pugs, though ISTR that higher spec new model C5's with hydraulic suspension gets the electric parking brake of doom just in case you thought you might get an old school Citroen that would see you out.0 -
Citreon BX, Xantia and a few other models had a strange arrangement where they hand the handbrake linked to the front wheels rather than the back.
As for owning a Citreon, a large number of their product range are more reliable than Audi's, BMW's, VW's and Mercs.
Op at that price, I would be looking for a small indie garage to give me a quote. They will be nowhere near Halfords prices.Never Knowingly Understood.
