I thought the franchise company that ran National Schoolwear Centres went bust last year.
Our DC's school has opted for an iron-on version of its embroidered logo so you can buy your jumpers and polos at ASDA/TESCO/M&S and then put the badge on yourself.
Our local Schoolwear Centres open, which sells official uniform. I'm not sure if its the same company though.0 -
I work for a School Uniform Supplier called Uniform Direct , I am outraged by the prices that most of you are paying for Embroidered School Uniform Items.
Those Retailers are making Crazy Money!!!!
It is Parents right to request Choice in School Uniform Suppliers. You can take a look at some of our prices online at www dot uniform-direct dot com I know our company is taking on a few more Schools at the moment; it would be a good idea to tell your governors to call them!
They sell online, in store and can supply direct to School. They cut the cost by "Cutting the Middle Men"
Rugby Shirts an example £15 Maximum
High Quality Embroidered Sweatshirts from £6 (Primary Schools) to a Maximum of about £10 XL Secondary Schools.
Average Embroidered School Uniform Price including PE Kit items is around £65 or less - the national average is £200 excluding PE Kit, so I can only sympathise with you!
We put money back in PARENTS Pockets!!0
