How much rent for bro and wife?

There are three working adults, but you and yours are still taking up 2/3rds of the bedrooms, using electricity, hot water, creating waste and eating food. I'd split the bills 50:50 and put a big smile on for the last few months and be pleased that you managed to come out the other end without killing each other :beer:0

Money, relatives/friends sometimes just don't go well
please remember how you got the house in the first place and don't be so stingy"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

I wouldn't split the bills 2/3. Your children are using up energy. Perhaps 50:50 split at most. it depends if your children use consoles etc. as then (if I were your brother) I'd argue for 2/5. I also wouldn't charge them rent given the help given to you in the past.
Be grateful, not tight.
It always easy to feel hard done by now that you have to provide your brother with his share, but you have to remember what had happened if not for your brother on the joint mortgage. You seem quite resentful of the fact he has stayed, but he owns the house as well! It was surely preferable to having your ex stay. You might still think of the house as 'yours', but it isn't.0
