Need on line diary for room booking

Hello. I have a small business whereby people book rooms to rent for an hour for therapy. We have more people coming in and we need a room booking system that we can all use on line as we need to know room availability when we are not in the office. Ideally free or cheap. Any ideas please? Many thanks,

We use gmail calendars for booking rooms at work: you could either give those who needed it access to log into that account, or allow access to a number of other people.

the only thing is, it wouldn't stop you double booking the room!

You can manage the room as a resource with Google calendars, where you add it as an invitee and it'll only accept if there are no collisions (or you can set it to allow collisions, useful for different things).

It's not ideal though, as it doesn't automatically prevent a rogue therapist reserving a room for 1 minute every hour and getting exclusive use by default but not paying for it, not does it level the resources or allocate rooms, both of which might be desired. It also won't force turnaround times unless you specifically set it up to.

Google calendar is still a good base for this, but you might need an over-the-top service to actually manage the bookings logic.

https://youcanbook.me/ has a small businesses tier it might be worth looking at too. Looks kinda good.
