Up to date - ethical parking management

I have read a few posts about countering tickets from EPM but I have also read that the laws have changed a lot. Please could anyone provide me with some up to date advice for my situation?

I received a PCN letter today saying I have been fined £100 for failure to display a valid parking permit. I admit the permit was on the floor, but it's a residential car park, with no pay and display any where.

I am unsure what step to take next so does anyone have any advice for me?

Many thanks in advance

Ethical Parking Management! Is this some sort of p**s take?

How can "Ethical" and "Parking Management" ever be used in the same phrase?

Just how many of the low life parking companies are now operating? There seems to be new ones springing up every day.

Please don't encourage EPM's stooge to come back here and spout more garbage in justification of their operation - Its been nice and quiet without them!
