Do you know how she has she blocked you out of the booking? Do you have the booking reference?
Looking on Virgin Atlantic you only need this and the first name and surname of the lead passenger (which i'm assuming you know!)0 -

You need booking reference, lead Booker name, date of birth and postcode.
If I try to access it I get a message that states I have entered incorrect information. I phoned Virgin and they told me I have the postcode "slightly" wrong
The lead Booker is telling me no one can access the online booking info as Virgin are looking into the booking
I've told her today I have paid in full and given her the payment reference number. I have stars again that I do not want or consent to the booking being changed or cancelled which results in losing or costing money. I've told her if the booking is to remain I need to know how I will get access to the tickets as virgin do not post them they email the lead Booker to let them know when they can be printed from the booking page which she won't give me access to0 -
It's Virgin Holidays not Virgin Atlantic the flight is booked with - they are different apparently (I didn't know that until this week)0

BTW I think the access thing is a bit of a red herring.
I dont think its essential you be given access to the booking. I do think its essential that she confirms she will be reasonable and work with you to ensure you's can both make the most of a bad situation. By perhaps printing out your tickets and allowing you to collect them (or the other friend - cant remember if you said who the falling out had been between but those people should be taking a back seat and letting those who havent had an altercation, sort things out on their behalf).
You's were all friends at some point and apparently trusted her enough to be the lead passenger on a booking you were all paying towards. Is there actually a well founded reason for you not to trust her or are feelings of resentment perhaps clouding your judgement? Its easily enough done - especially if you feel you or someone you care deeply about has been wronged in some way.
Of course all your concerns might be accurateJust in my experience, disputes such as this (personal rather than business) tend to snowball into something much larger than it should have been. Especially if one side thinks the other is trying to get one over on them in a point scoring type exercise
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Thats normal.
For example: Thomas Cook airlines are separate from Thomas Cook the travel agent and also Thomas Cook the tour operator (who are separate from each other too). They're all just owned by the same parent company and have the same "brand".You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

What is happening now is the reason I no longer trust her. I only found out she had contacted Virgin to enquire about changing the booking when I tried to pay my balance and when I asked her if she knew why I couldn't get in it she only replied that Virgin were "looking at" the booking. I asked her why and other than her saying she doesn't think the booking can remain as it is I don't exactly know what she is trying to achieve?
I've asked her to confirm she won't make changes or cancel the booking without consent from all parties and she won't.
I asked her to confirm if the booking is to remain as it is will she ensure I have access to the tickets and she ignored the question
I asked her to confirm exactly what she has asked Virgin to do and she won't
I asked her why it's taken over a week and she still doesn't have answers to whatever questions she has asked Virgin and she ignored the question
I think these are all reasonable, non confrontational questions but all she does when I ask her these questions is rant at me about things that aren't relevant
All I want to know is what is happening with the flight I have over £700 invested in
Me being given access to the booking isn't essential now I have paid my balance, making changes I haven't consented to potentiallly losing me money and not confirming I will be given the tickets I've paid over £700 for is what's important0 -
Is it possible for you to phone up virgin and put a note on the booking to say you don't give permission for the booking to be cancelled? It would just be another thing in your favor if it does all go to court.0

The lead Booker claims she has sent all correspondence to virgin customer services and their legal team - I think this is rubbish but if she has it suits me as every piece of correspondence from me says I do not consent to any changes0 -
So have you tried inputting the postcode slightly wrong?RufusHound wrote: »You need booking reference, lead Booker name, date of birth and postcode.
