It sounds like he works for the Co Op Bank

The other, incredibly similar poster was moaning about his manager at Barclays Bank, and criticising them for applying for a digital eagle role which they did not get.

By bizarre coincidence, Barclays refer to their disciplinary procedure as D&G ;)

Interesting to check out the post and thank history of the user who's thanked the OPs first post.

    It led me here:

I wonder who could have started this thread.

And stupid enough to use their own name. Wouldn't it be a shame if Barclays Bank found this thread? ;)

They don't need to worry tho, this is all about their friend afterall :D

Think their friend is the one who should be worrying.

I hope the OP's 'friend' realises that if the complaint is upheld then disciplinary won't stop just because the OP (I mean his/her friend) resigns. The disciplinary (if upheld) can also be shown on any reference.

IF your friend is right to blame their mother's death on their colleague, why haven't they gone to the police about it?

I dying (pun intended) to know how the bank manager cause the death of the employees mother. Seems a pretty tenuous link.
  • Interested to see where this leads...I'm assuming it's a "my mother died because of the stress of seeing me stressed over work"...Should be interesting.
