Hi, I was given 4 weeks notice of redundancy on the 11/06/15 which makes my termination date the 09/07/15 which in turn gives me another full years service by a margin of a few days and because of this I am entitled to 5 years of redundancy pay ( 7.5 weeks pay for being over 41 years of age) but am I now entitled to 5 weeks notice instead of 4?

Service for notice is the day it is given.0 -
Exactly as getmore4less says.
You say you are over 41, but are you 5 years over 41,
you only get the extra half weeks for the actual time over 41make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks for your answers , I am 54 .
UPDATE just phoned ACAS , both redundancy and notice are worked out from termination date so I am entitled to 5 weeks notice.0 -

I'm afraid ACAS phone helpline is wrong, yet again. As correctly stated above, notice runs from the day after it is given. If you pass a notice entitlement milestone during that notice period, your notice is not extended.0
