Hi guys
I'm a 38 year old expat and am unlikely to return to the UK. I have a pension and a property abroad.
I've recently decided to start passive investing (ETFs) and am considering how best to construct my asset allocation. I'm going to start with a sum of £3,000 (when I'm more experienced I'll put in the rest of my savings - £140,000). So far I'm thinking the following:
70% Global Stocks - ishares MSCI ACWI UCITS ETF
30% Global Bonds - ishares Global AAA-AA Government Bond
I have chosen global as I'm not sure if I'll be retiring in the UK or not. I also plan on investing in GBP.
Do any of you more seasoned investors have any comments?
