Help to Buy ISA with Shared Ownership?
Fulstow
So I'm looking to buy a shared ownership flat some time next year outright without a mortgage. I won't have the money until next year but I do have a little bit saved away already. I've read about the new Help to Buy ISAs where the government will top up whatever you save into it by 25% but would you be able to use this towards a Shared Ownership home? I've rang around a few places to ask and none of them seemed to know! I think I read somewhere that you couldn't use it towards a Shared Ownership Mortgage but I won't need a mortgage so....

Bonus goes straight to the mortgage lender, so no use if you have no mortgage.0 -
You wouldn't be eligible for the HTB ISA if you weren't taking out a mortgage.0
