CTF Investment Options...

Hi
So I am in fact asking for some CTF investment options (not savings, although that is a consideration.... read on...)
Yes, I do understand the risk with investments / any responses to my question (forum recommendations, etc, etc). I may also fall foul of forum rules but thought I'd ask anyway.
My DD is 11 yo and has her CTF with Selftrade. She has done rather well recently with her (AMC) investment which means she is now sitting on a sizeable fund of money.
I'm looking to protect an amount (50%) from investment fluctuations and ideally I'd like to retain the monies within the investment CTF so the question is....
What low risk investment type options would offer low risk low returns, i.e. good zero's, consider bonds, etc)
If the consensus is that this is unlikely then I will probably move the monies in to a cash ISA for her.

Would it be better to transfer to a JISA?

With a JISA she could have both a cash and stocks and shares fund.
