New Sterling Silver Product - Light scratches normal?

It is hard to tell from the photos, but I suspect that they were never mirror finish but they don't look quite like a brushed finish either.
PS - the third image here looks like a similar finish.

Hmm, it's an interesting point, but all the images of them do make them look mirror finished. The larger scratch near the top middle of the right-hand side one, I don't think could be argued as anything other than a scratch.0 -
