Reclaim Bank Charges even if no longer in Debt

Hi
I am interested in reclaiming my old bank charges from roughly 2008-2012. My criteria from that period of time fits perfectly with the financial hardship criteria.
I have in the last couple of years managed to get myself out of the cycle of debt that can in part be blamed on bank charges, so I no longer fit into the financial hardship criteria.
So I was wondering if it is still worth making a claim or not?!
Many Thanks :-)

The criteria is CURRENT financial hardship. They assess where you are now. If you are not in current financial hardship they do not have to consider anything.
You can ask them nicely but your arguments are broken before you start. You cannot say you are having problems paying your bills or are in a spiral of charges and cant get out etc. You cant use the word unfair or excessive as they are auto-rejections.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
