Paid C/C in full then New Interest Added ?? Is this right?

Options
Last month i paid off my MBNA credit card in full £13,078.91 ( total on statement) balance on website when i checked to see if it had gone was then £0.00. Today i have received a statement saying i owe £152.96 'Interest charged'.

Is this Right???.

Surely if i have paid off the total ON time, how can they add this afterwards.

I am going to phone them but thought i would check first before i make a fool of myself.
Can anybody explain this.
Thanks in Advance

you need to pay in full two consecutive months before there is a zero interest charge..so it depends upon the situation the previous month.... basically it is likely to be the interest between the last statement date and the time you actually paid it off.

Claptons right. Basically what was on your previous statement was the interest on your balance until the statement date. you are still liable for interest until the actual date you pay them. So the current statement shows the interest you owe them from the statement date till the complete balance was paid up. If you pay this in full this month then there shudnt be anymroe interest.
