Hi all first post so be gentle!
I had a call regarding an accident last year In my car, lorry reversed into me smashing bumoer and headlight etc, had all this repaired last year via his insurance company.
Now a year later this company rings up saying that saying that there is approx £2000 available as the insurance company that paid for the repair to my car would of automatically set a aside a few grand for my particular case and he said all insurance companies do it, and if I don't claim it it will just go to my old insurance company. He said all I need to do is give him the reg and say that I did have a bit of neck pain etc I did have a chaff but nothing life threatening.
He said I just need to sign a document when the solicitors come to my house? I said it sounds a bit iffy but he said its money just floating around and that they all do it, he said it's just a formality etc.
any ppl had a similar experience ?

scam, ignore them.
They either get your number through someone you have dealt with or the are phoning on the offchance that they get someone that has had an accident.
My daughter got them before she was even old enough to drive.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Thanks mate I gave them the reg number over the phone, should I just ignore any further communications ? As they said a mobile solicitor is coming to my house to sign some documents.
Sounds iffy to me but the guy in the phone made it sound common0 -

Of course he did. Their whole sales pitch relies on them making you believe "well, telling them I had an unprovable injury and claiming compo isn't REALLY lying because everyone does it and this pot of money is just sitting there waiting for me".
There is no pot, not everyone does it, and it is fraud.0
