Have you had a look on https://www.old-maps.co.uk ? They're not definitive but give a good indication when most estates were built.
What style is the house?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
ask the owner?0

Post a pic or a link to Rightmove, Zoopla etc and we'll guess...0

My deeds state when my flat was built (or when it ought to have been built - within one year of the sale of the original land!). I'm in Scotland though.0

The deeds to my house state a date of 28 March 1965 followed by a date of September 1981 for when the house was bought under a right to buy scheme. I'm in England.0

Have a look online at your local councils planning applications. You should be able to see when planning permission was granted in the archives. If not online then you can ask at the council for the details.0

P.S ignore the estate agent. It really grated when I heard my EA telling people my house was built in the 1970's. Building methods began to slip and many were shoddily built in the 1970's so I made sure I was very clear when I corrected him that it was actually built nice and solid in 1958!0

Go to your archive. Check out the maps from different years and see when it appears.
Check if they have any records in their building plans if old enough to be deposited there, else check with the planning department.
Check for old postcards/photographs.
Check if any miscellaneous records of the house.
Beyond the map, you get a longer and longer shot, but all worth a go.0 -
You can use Electoral registers and find who lived there, people tended to be moved in shortly after being built, so will give you to a year or so.
Done this plenty of times, also part of finding out the history of house.0
