Attachment of earnings

OK, not really a consumer rights issue but wondering if anyone can help.

I have a County Court judgment against someone. I want to try and enforce it with an attachment of earnings order. I understand that she works for a bank in a back office function. Wondering if anyone had any experience of whether I could simply send the Order to the bank's head office specifying the city where she works.

I don't have the actual address where she works but I'm sure that the payroll / HR function would not be there anyway.

You need the appropriate form from the courts, fill it in and give it back to the courts with the fee. Only they can approve the attachment of earnings. You cant just write to the defendants employer and ask them to do it.

Thanks. I know that. The question related to the employees employment details which need to be put on the N337 form.
