So sue 'the woman'. Both for the promised money, and the deposit penalty for non registration.
* She was your landlord
* She failed to register your deposit
* she failed (apparantly) to return the money agreed as part of the Early Surrender negotiated with her agent on her behalf
* Name the agents as co-defendants.
*Have you checked she owns the property yet?
* I can't read the handwriting on the surrender document
* the surrender document appears to mention ' compensation' without specifying what it is (unless it is hand-written!)
* Deposits: payment, protection and return0 -

Handwriting on the surrender document states: Mr (other tenant name, who we gave cash from our own money received by the agent) will receive his deposit+ 1 month rent+ admin fee minus rent till the day of this agreement within 3 business working days.
this is the money they owe to us now.
I haven't checked who owns the property. would it change something if the property is under someone else's name??
compensation is for us to leave the house before the agreement ends. they didn't provide any legal documents stating why we should leave, so we said, we are staying. then we came to the agreement if they pay us certain amount of money we leave.0 -

That is an agreement between Mr X and the LL. Only Mr X could sue.
If you have already given the money to Mr X that is a matter between you and Mr X, so you would have to reclaim it from him.
You could, of course, sue for non registration of the deposit.0 -

TDS is an insurance based scheme. The landlord shall hold the deposit within the terms of the scheme.
I checked with DPS and the deposit haven't been protected with them.

Just found out that Coutrywide has nothing to do this deposit protecting and it is more likely they printed the list without even checking. So they also put false info on the contract. Can they be done for that?
I can't stand these guys i will do everything to make them pay for every little thing they did to us!
They never provided Landlord details after we've been asking (21 day has passed long time ago) . Can this be brought in court? Or is it too late?0
