I looked on the enirgy website and I was showing a saving of 69p if I switched from SSE Airtricity to Click but I wasn't given all the correct options. I don't get a postal bill and I do pay by DD but I'm not on the Saver 24 DD and eBill. I seem to be paying 15.60p per unit (inc VAT) which is their highest tariff so I could save about £70 per year.
And if I leave SSE then I can transfer back in the future and get a £30 bonus and 17% discount in year 1
I think a phone call to SSE is in order!

According to that link I could apparently save 69p per year by moving from SSE to Click. Not enough incentive for me to move at this point.

Especially as I like the monthly billing and the ability to submit meter readings via the app etc.

So far I have been with Power NI, Budget and SSE, with SSE being the best, closely followed by Power NI. Budget I though were not very good, especially their billing was all over the place.

Uncanny this, I could have written it almost word for word, only my saving on that comparison link is showing at 40p not 69.

Everything else ditto, including all the same suppliers and where I am at present. When the current deal's up in 4 months time I'll have another look...
  • Just to add to the above.

The comparison site assumed I was on an SSE tariff of 13.78, compared to 13.76 with Click. This isn't the case. I am paying 14.23 which actually makes my bill about £8 a year more expensive like for like. But SSE gave me a 50 quid credit up front for a 2 year deal, which more than covers the £16 shortfall... so still cheaper for me at SSE... for now...
