Edit: just seen click energy bit cheaper again, anyone with them ?
Yes i changed over from SSE to Click a couple of weeks ago, all ok so far.0 -
Changed over to Click from SSE. I applied online, had a 14 day cool off period. Then got email from them to contact and the change over was done in a few minutes. No issues. 13.755p per unit. cheapest in country and no contract. Open electric may become interesting in the future as they pay back 30% of their profit to customers per year. But until they get at least a year done there is no way to estimate what your share of this 30% would be. For me now, being with Click it would need to be at least £50 to be of benefit. We'll see next year. The important thing is now at least we are getting a choice and a price war of sorts, better than when NIE held all the cardsI started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p0

think ill give click energy a go. Cheapest on the market. no contract tying you in is the clincher for me. Can leave if they up rates in the near future
excellent calculator to compare at enirgy website

According to that link I could apparently save 69p per year by moving from SSE to Click. Not enough incentive for me to move at this point.
Especially as I like the monthly billing and the ability to submit meter readings via the app etc.
So far I have been with Power NI, Budget and SSE, with SSE being the best, closely followed by Power NI. Budget I though were not very good, especially their billing was all over the place.0 -

Not sure about that particular comparison. Dont think its right. You should save more than 69p per year. Look at the consumer councils comparison tables to get a better idea. You need to check it regularly though as its updated quite often as suppliers modify their prices. Last update was Oct 14th

If everybody had that attitude then none of the providers would be forced to compete
I am always on the lookout for a better deal, but the saving has to be worth my while, and 69p I don't consider worthwhile, especially as I am quite happy with the Service provided by my current Provider.
As I said, I have already moved Provider several times for cost purposes, and am not afraid to shop around. I also have changed my Fibre from BT to Sky and my Mobile from Tesco to Vodafone within the last 2 weeks, solely based on cost.0 -
So those who have moved to Click Energy.... Are you saving money and was there any hassle?
I'm currently with power ni so could save about £50 per yr by moving but obviously don't want hassle etc if the cheaper price means poor service.0 -
Ive moved and no hassle, works out about £4 a week im saving, not sure what poor service you can get the electric comes in the same lines0
