I don't think IKEA will put it together, but if you look in the newsagent window there is bound to be a "no job too small" handyman who will do it for not much.

My IKEA mattress is very comfy.

How much are you looking to spend? You you want to by just the frame, or both frame and matress?

And IKEA puts it together right? I cannot even screw a nut and a bolt together...let alone following IKEA's renowned instructions. ;)

And can you check the stock on the website or do you have to call them? I don't know if all their beds are displayed on their website.

    1. I'm afraid that's the catch, they don't put it together..

    2. yes you can check stock on the website.... you name the store..

    3. Most of the beds are displayed but it's always best to do a reccy first.

    good luck!

Thanks for all these comments. Will go down to IKEA this weekend and see what they have.

I want to spend around £300 for a decent bed frame and mattress together and it seems too small a budget to buy a bed from Dreams or something. :(
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

A great wholesaler/importer that sells to the public now, they sell beds, tables, mattresses, the lot and they are people that supply to furniture village etc. Give them a call Sleepy Valley and say you got referred by Bill. 01279 778088, They are in Hertfordshire.
    Kind Regards

Try ...https://www.affordablefurnituredirect.co.uk. Small but very friendly and depending where you are they will deliver and assemble. I spoke to them yesterday and apparently they have a lot of new beds to go on their site. They are going to be doing nationwide delivery shortly. Worth a try maybe.
