When we move house the bath is fitted but has room at the ned which is a shelf kind of the same height as the bath and another slightly higher one (hope that makes sence!) Anyway we are wondering wether to put up a rail and curtain and hope the splash from it doesnt ruin everyting on the shelves..or put up a screen? will the screen make any difference..anyone got a simlar type of bathroom? i love the storage but worry that everything will get wet and we wont use it!! thanks!

Hi Gabyjane,
Sounds just like my bathroom. We use a shower curtain and it works absolutely fine. We just use the shelf for things like shampoo, shower gel etc, because it doesn't matter if that gets wet.
Just one thing you should consider:
Obviously because the shower is fixed to the wall at the back of the shelf, you should invest in a good shower head that can project the water far enough away from the shelf wall. Only reason I mention this is, that when we first moved in we had a cheapo shower hose and we ended up having to stand so close to the near end of the bath, and as baths are usually angled at the edges it makes it quite slippery.
Hope this helps.0 -
