my mum, step dad and me want to start doing this weekly list you have but can someone show me list for whole week so we can pick chores now. my mum said ahe read it on here and althought it would be a good idea as she became disabled a few years ago and nothing really gets done properly. step dad always says to mum will do it at weekend but that never happens and she wants to try and do a couple of chores herself. at moment i do all washing and step dad does all cooking. mum says she going to do all shopping on net and get things like milk and bread she will use as incentive to do her daily walk that she never does. we just need organising for rest of house now. carer comes in every day to bath and dress her and she used to wash bath and sink but now we have walk in wet floor shower downstairs so bath and sink get left to now. thanks everyone can you do asap as want to print it out so we can tick and know what has to be done today

I would say the same. Flylady is the place to go. My house is not perfect, but it is so much better than before I discovered flylady.

The first step is to declutter. If all of the surfaces - in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms - are clear then keeping things clean is easy.

What I have done is to create a home for everything. That means when you tidy there is somewhere for everything to go.

When you wash the floor in the bathroom and kitchen - use an old towel to wipe it dry after it has been washed.
