I can't find anything on this site re Corporate Bonds. Where can I compare the best deals on Corporate Bonds. I don't want to be too risky though.

Not all corporate bond funds are equal risk though so do your research well. Don't expect much commission rebate on most corp bond funds. Many of them dont pay any trail commission and initial commission can be much lower.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Paul, the normal trail commission is 0.5%. Corporate bonds tend to be around 0.15-0.35%. Some do not pay any. However, its quite possible HL don't offer those ones on the range they offer. Also, it does depend on the fund supermarket platform used, which may impact on HL's terms.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). You can buy them through a stockbroker. But a fund is probably a better way for a novice investor. I would second Paul Varjak's suggestion of going to Hargreaves Lansdown ( no connection, just a happy customer ).

It's quite difficult to buy individual corporate bonds, unlike shares, the market isn't very developed yet. There is information about indivdidual bonds and the market here:
http://www.bondscape.net
And you can approach any stockbroker to buy for you ( if you have an account already to buy shares, they can usually buy bonds for you as well, but it takes a while, and is not available online).
Is now a good time to buy anyway? I've read that prices are peaking and yields are very low. The riskier high yield bond market is perhaps having a problem due to the downgrading of General Motors and Ford bonds ?Trying to keep it simple...
