Comparing gas suppliers for property awaiting connection query..

Hello
I am waiting to exchange contracts on a house in Gloucestershire.
The house has no gas and connection is a top priority after completion.
Comparison sites such as ‘My Utility Genius’ etc won’t let me go ahead with sourcing the best supply deal as there isn’t a current gas provider to input on their system?
So how do I go about finding a competitive supplier on a new connection? Has anyone else had this problem and if so what worked for you?
It’s always possible I’m missing something here...
