Could pond affect full buiilding survey?

Hi,

I have a guy who's getting a full bs on my house. House is fine but the only thing that is concerning me is that I put a plastic pond in my garden. It's no more than 6ftx3ft, it's approx 25ft from the house, and because I have a few steps my garden is elevated about 2ft from ground level.i haven't got any pipes for drianage, just runs into the soil. Maybe have to top up pond every 3/4 months so it rarely leaks.
Would the building inspector see this as a black mark?

Should I just backfill it to be sure? Or worrying over nothing.

If Monty Don can have a pond with no drainage , i`m sure you can , i cant see that being that far from the house , it can be a problem

I am no expert on this, but I just had a building survey done on a house and they made no mention of the rather large pond in the back garden.

Did you excavate the foundations from under your house to build the pond?

Your buyer might like the pond ... what would he think if you filled it in?
