Help with boiler and heating in Southwark
Hi,
We have a aunty who is over 65 years of age and lives in a mortgaged house in Southwark council area; she is not retired yet but on a low income.
The boiler and heating system in her home broke down a few years ago and due to lack of funds she has not been able to get it fixed. We are worried for her health and safety specially during the winter months as electric heaters are not effective nor efficient.
I will be grateful if someone could please guide as to how she could be helped and if any schemes are currently available these days which could get her a free new boiler and heating system.
