Looked at the first two links, neither support you. They just show more people who don't understand what front loaded interest really is.

Care to explain how it is applied to mortgages, as you claim?

er ... front-loaded interest in mortgaqes? Maybe you need to go back to the first post in this thread. I think you and others in this thread need to ask yourselves a question, "Who is trolling who?"

Ok I've provided what was asked for. I'm out.

Funny how everyone else is wrong and you are right in every thread you post in, yet you think people are attacking you, these forums are about giving advice to people not opinions that are wrong and are completely unhelpful to posters who come here for help.

Enjoy your sojourn in the south of France that you are keen to think will impress people it will maybe give you chance to reflect and realise where you are going wrong on these forums, though somehow I doubt it.

Well hello there cajef. Hey I like you, you make me smile.

This thread has turned silly now so I'm off. Bye bye
    Thanks for playing anyway, champ.

  • A google search is not evidence. If you think it is that really explains a lot about some of your opinions.

  • Hi all, first post. I have a similar question, I took a loan with 118118 money for £3000 over three years. Unfortunately due to work etc I have been unable to pay it off do now the account is closed. 118118 said they are taking further action and I now owe £5,487.00 this is because the loan was front loaded. Is this legal and if it goes to court will it stand as the apr is 98%? Cheers.

It won't have been front loaded, Just a very high rate and the balance has increased due to missed payments.
  • Hi, I was told by 118118 that their loans are front loaded interest which is why the figure is so high, I'm in arrears of £400 ish. Now the loan is closed they have whacked on the three years worth of interest!!!! Are they allowed to do this?

You need to request a breakdown of the sum. Initial amount borrowed, term, missed payments, interest, additional fees etc.
