do you have a single example of a loan (not defaulted) worth discussing?

I'm not going to do it for you. If you don't want to to search then it won't get posted. This thread has turned silly now so I'm off. Bye bye

Can only find examples of folks claiming "Front Loaded" did find this though from the US which sums it up nicely

You cannot make assertions and then refuse to back them up telling others to go and do their research. If you make the claim they exist you need to prove it.

As far as I can tell this whole "front loaded interest" is just people misunderstanding how interest works (i.e. interest is calculated on the outstanding balance at any given point in time and because the highest balance is at the start so is the interest and hence any constant payment will obviously have to cover more interest initially until the capital balance falls through repayment).
    Thinking critically since 1996....

Interesting, this poster will not provide a link to something they are claiming yet want others to provide a link to prove that they were wrong about something else.

Not sure who this "Anthorn" fella is. Has posted complete jibberish on a few threads the past couple of days and then !!!!!!ed off when proven wrong.

Astonished that he has over 1,000 posts - if he was new I'd have figured him for a troll.
"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."

Why do you think I have "!!!!!!ed off". When a thread is finished I move on just the same as most other people do. Or is there a particular reason why you would want me to stick around in this thread?

Personally, I think you are obviously not the sort of person I would ordinarily choose to converse with.

I would like you to support your case with meaningful links.

I suspect others think the same.

    Had it finished?

You'd made a claim but not backed it up with any evidence. That sounds unfinished to me.

Looked at the first two links, neither support you. They just show more people who don't understand what front loaded interest really is.

Care to explain how it is applied to mortgages, as you claim?
