Delay on buying house

Hi all ,we need advice . We are in process of buying a house .we put our offer end of March , proposed moving date was 29th of May . On our side everything is sorted . But on sellers ...ex girlfriend stays in Ibiza she's still on deeds , our solicitor saying she send paperwork back couple weeks ago , but here we are 4 weeks later and we still don't know what's happening ! house is empty so I don't understand why they delaying process for us ! We live in Scotland and just want to find out what can we do about it

Sounds like a dispute between the two sellers. Arguing about who gets what share? One of them refusing to sign to spite the other?
Divorces and break-ups can be messy and unpredictable. If you can't find out what's going on you'll need o cut your losses at some point.0 -
Phone the EA, ask them to phone the sellers and find out what's happening. The EA will lose their commission if the sale falls through so they're usually good at pushing things along. You'll get answers quicker than you will from your solicitor.0
