RCP parking scam help!

Hello! I am new so thanks for reading. Here is the shortest version of why I need advice.

I work in a small city and other than expensive multi stories for shoppers that are attached to malls, I have to park in RCP car parks. At present the machines they use in my city and the car park I park in are not calibrated to take 'new' (post 2012) coins. Usually if I try to feed the meter and it won't take my coins as it costs 4.80 so needs smaller change, I either overpay if I have the change or I pay online as there are big signs saying 'PAY ONLINE!' I usually pay online if I don't have enough to over pay and then I'll pay the remainder of my week as they charge for online payments. This morning I tried to pay but had a few 'new' coins so I tried to pay online for the two days I will use the car park but this morning I found they had introduced a new thing, no online payments after 10am! I work 11-8 so it would not let me use the online payment service as my request was invalid as it was too late. I had to phone up and was told by the operator that in future I need to pay 'before I left home or the night before as this is new policy' they did take my payment, so I was fine this morning, and when I told her the issue that all the signs in the carpark say pay online, nothing about a time limit she just said email the company and hopefully if enough people do they might care. My question is is this fine? I have used the car parks and online system for over a year, sometimes out of annoyance at having to overpay the meter, so where do drivers stand? It seems like the options now are overpay, book in advance and pay the charges, or get a parking ticket if any of your coins are over three years old. I'm not trying to shirk any payment, but this seems ridiculous - as the machines are so out of date now they are penning drivers into a corner. Any advice would be appreciated! I don't want to have to spend Sunday checking all my change for dates or have to pay online in advance and pay the online charges that are being forced upon me because of uncallibrated machines.

Thanks for reading.

This is a UK site, I presume your in the US with different rules to us?

I guess the choice is to get a stock of the correct coins, pay before 10am or park elsewhere.

You dont want to check your change or pay early so park elsewhere?

If you're working regular hours, is there no sort of annual/monthly/weekly payment you can make? It'll probably be a bit cheaper that way too.
