pop up ads on MSE forum?

whenever I move mouse over some links in MSE posts, some adverts appear.. is that a new thing?

(even my signature seems to have been changed, without my knowledge/consent?

Some pages just get a large grey box overlaid, with 'price minus' logo at the top..??

Sounds as if you have picked up some malware/adware or other such nasty on your PC or device.

Just Googling price minus bring up lots of web pages about it being malware/virus and how, allegedly, to remove it from your computer.

This is what I see on that link. No extra links added, and no popups.

You should probably ask on the techie section if you need help cleaning the malware/adware off.
