Can you recommend a digital camera repairer

I have a sony DSC-T9 but the screen isn't working. I dropped in on holiday (denting the casing) it worked for a while but then the screen lost it's picture so am assuming the two things are related.

I am struggling to find somewhere to fix it for a reasonable price - don't mind sending it away. Jessops quoted me £170 without even seeing ( you can currently buy it in argos for £140!) Sony quoted £110, a camera shop in Leeds quoted £60 but then hadn't got the screen in stock so said it would Be £120

can anyone reccomend somewhere reasonably priced and reliable please.

I'm afraid I don't know of anywhere and just having it looked at is going to be a significant portion of the camera's value. It wouldn't surprise me if it still ends up cheaper to buy a replacement camera. I presume you don't have any kind of accidental cover (even some home insurance may cover you but I'm not sure).

i did have travel insurance and it was dropped on holiday - i'm just not sure whether i can claim 2 months on?

Certainly worth looking into it. I don't think you're going to find anywhere cheap enough to make it worth it.

we have some sony camera's in work (though not that model) we are finding some of them the screens just go. If you push round the edge of the screen it may come on again.
