Wow thanks everyone I shall look forward to trying some of those recipes out. They all sound rather tasty. The cheese and apple sound nice as does the watermelon salad, very refreshing on a (hopefully ) hot summers day. we usually have a BBQ at my DDs with the boys on hot summer sundays so I may take some round there for my son-in-law to experiment with he is a great cook and loves to try new things on his barbie. I have bookmarked the sites and will have a look at those as well.daft isn't it I totally forgot to google some recipes ,yet I am online daily :):):)sometimes the obvious doesn't occur :):):)
    Cheers chums

I like a green salad with grilled halloumi and black pudding chopped in to it.

Also kebabs on the barbecue. Marinated pork, mushrooms, slices of corn cob, cherry tomatoes and halloumi.

I like it fried up and stuffed in a pitta bread with some salad and sweet chilli sauce. I also have it with salad as my lunch for work at least once a week, it's a good meaty source of protein for vegetarians.

Grill the cheese and serve in wraps with salad and hummous, or you can beer batter it and serve with chips like a veggie fish and chips. Nom my mouth is watering just thinking about tasty halloumi recipes lol

Nigella does a sweet potato dish where she bakes it in the oven.http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/nigella-lawson/double-potato-and-halloumi-bake-recipe.html
I had some for tea tonight, done in the griddle pan and served with couscous and roasted veg.
Its salty and when you eat it your teeth squeaks.

I dust in in flour on both sides and fry in butter/oil until golden brown - then serve with a salad.

Hi chums I have three packets of the above and am looking for recipes to use it up.One is with basil and two with sweet chili.I need inspirations for something different They are all long-dated until 2016 and I got them at Lidls about 6 weeks ago

    I love it.

Just slice and griddle and serve as you would a burger.

If done right the meat eaters will dive in too (though deny it!)

Strange how all the non meat dishes always disappear first!
