PCN help

Hi,
I received a PCN on a car parked in a space we rent. Our block of flats are all freehold and the land is shared freehold. The maintenance company and board of directors have hired the parking company for a small fee a year. After receiving the Notice to Keeper I replied using a template to say they hadn't contacted me in time under Protection of Freedoms Act. They haven't contacted me for 4 months and have just sent me a letter to say I still owe an 'overdue amount'. Also that they will take me to court to recover the money owed if I don't pay.
They are currently taking my wife to a court hearing for a PCN on the same land.
What should I do?

What is the name of the parking company? Are they BPA or IPC members? If you have appealed you should have either received a cancellation or information on how to make a second stage appeal.
What does your lease say about parking? Does it say something like "quiet enjoyment?" Your lease will trump a a parking company's rules anyday. Have you contacted your landlord about this?
Have you/your wife actually received court papers or just a letter saying they may take you to court?
If you are at court stage, you should read/re-read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES especially the part about court. Also purchase the Parking-Prannkster's court guide. It's very cheap.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
