Tenth Anniversary First Post Combo Breaker
Hi all

I have a new build property which has the above boiler installed by the housebuilder, we have a separate ideal hot water system, and have 3 thermostat controls (1 for HW, 1 for downstairs and 1 for upstairs).

At the moment we have the HW timed to be on from 06:30 - 08:00 and from 6:30pm till 10:30pm, and we do not currently have the heating on, it is set for "continuous energy saving" mode which sets the temperate to 16 (our house at the moment is never lower than 20 so doesn't come on).

However on the boiler the display always reads "C" meaning there is a call for heat somewhere, I am worried both about my gas bill and the fact the our main bedroom is over the boiler so you can hear it all night.

Is this correct? or should the boiler go to "O" meaning standby when the HW is not on?

Can anyone with experience advise?
