Are you sure the Dr wasn't saying they wont do it in this circumstance as surely there is no way for them to guarantee that the child is no longer infectious?

its my understanding that once they start to scab over your no longer a risk to anyone, i'm no doctor so can only go on what i have read on the nhs website, my son is scabbing hasnt had any new blisters since sunday, i'm not just some maverick that doesnt care about others thats why i am seeking clarification on this as i could easily toss a bit of concealer on his face and smuggle him on as he only has a couple on his face...would rather do it properlly...fair enough if the doctor says i am wrong and still contagious then they do a not fit to fly form and i claim insurance and we go another time....

And suppose someone else in the party is infected? It's rare to get chicken pox more than once but it is possible.

nope flat out said they wouldnt do it or any of the other gps and i said well then can you do me an unfit to fly letter then as i had spoken to our travel insurance saying i would need the or a refusal to fly from ryanair....would rather have the doctor letter than a wasted day to the airport and being tossed off the plane....

didnt even look at his body so wasnt a case of him still weeping or saying she wouldnt do it because he could still be contagious...flat out we dont do letters...
