For Natwest/RBS customers/employees

Natwest have recently increase my interest rate to 24.9% This is ludicrously high mean most of the minimum payment goes on the interest. I was wondering if I could call them and negotiate a lower interest rate. What can I say that will make me successful? (Btw I use my card regularly and generally pay the minimum amount sometimes more so I am a profitable customer for them.)

[More for employees]
Also I if I wanted to apply for a loan with them could I get a quote without doing a credit check first. Could I find out my internal score and find out the likelihood of me getting a loan at a good rate?

Thanks in advance.
