How long for pip form?

I made a claim for pip and did the phone part last Monday on (15th June). How long does it usually take for the 'how your disability affects you' form to come through?

    A few days.
It's then - typically - processed within a week, and you may be called for an interview shortly after.
The process has gotten a _lot_ faster - and if you return the forms promptly can be in under 5 weeks.
(historically it has been nowhere near this fast, at one point, it peaked at 40 weeks)

Mine took almost 3 weeks to come and I got outside help to fill it in for me. Fot the confirmation text that they had received it about a week after I sent it to them.

CAB always seem to be snowed under. Are there any other organizations that offer help with these?

    Thanks.

I have an appointment with a community nurse at my doctors surgery tomorrow morning, for help with filling the form in,
So maybe ask at your surgery if there is anyone there that can help you, :)

Kent Blind did mine as I'm visually impaired. Depends what your condition is as to who can help or do it for you.

I requested the form in January, after several phone calls got it through in march!! clever really cos if you are awarded then there is no back payment from when you sent form back, even though I requested it in January it was sent back end of march awarded high rate of both but no back payment even though I requested and was entitled from January, so I would keep phoning requesting it to be sent.

Just done my sons as he had to change over after his 16th birthday.

The form took a little under 2 weeks to arrive and once they'd received it I got a letter two days later, from Atos, to say they were dealing with it. Two weeks later I got his award notice.
