NPower credit in error
I was just wondering the legal implications of this.
Since leaving npower the other week, it appears my (now closed) account has (incorrectly) been credited with about £800 which I suspect I may receive a cheque for.
If I accept it is it possible I'll potentially get into big trouble ?
Thoughts?
Thanks

LOL, they probably wont send you a cheque unless you ask. It will probably also take a lot of asking.0

Only if you refused to return it when they realised their mistake.
Same as if your bank accidentally transfers money into your account, that doesn't make it yours and they have every right to reclaim it.0 -
I wonder if ther is some time limit they have to request it back0
